Our Story

Hello,

My name is Tomi and I’m a dog dad living at the base of the Canadian Rockies. I met my friend and now business partner, Irving, over 10 years ago in Calgary, Alberta where we connected over a mutual love of travel, adventure and dogs. Irving is from Mexico originally and has since moved back with his partner and their two dogs. 

During a recent trip to visit Irving at his family home in Puebla and while doing some exploring in the surrounding area, we had the privilege of getting to know local artists creating beautiful, handmade leather goods for pets. We were inspired and hatched the idea to collaborate on bringing these artisan pet accessories to pet parents everywhere and LÖFY goods started to take shape.

We have established partnerships with an indigenous family in the Chiapa’s region and recently partnered with an indigenous family from Guatemala. Our premium leather comes from the leather capital city of Leon, Mexico. The unique patterns and colors are handcrafted in a workshop located in the highlands of Chiapas. Our handcrafted Guatemalan collars and leashes are designed and stitched in Guatemala.

Our goal is to outfit your fur family with unique, high-quality leather pet accessories, while honouring and telling the story of the artists that make these beautiful pieces.
